World UNESCO Heritage

Malaysia has diversity in landscapes, culture and activities. Among the famous sites listed under the UNESCO Heritage are:

  1. Georgetown and Malacca are historic cities of the Straits of Malacca which have developed over 500 years ago of the East and West trading and cultural exchange
  2. Kinabalu Park, Sabah Borneo is dominated by Mount Kinabalu (4,095m) the highest mountain between Himalayans and New Guinea. It has a wide range of rich tropical habitats, rainforest, mountain forest, sub-alpine forest and it is rich in species of flora from the Himalayans, China, Australia, Malaysia as well as Pan Tropical flora.

Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, Borneo is the most study karst area in the world. The park is dominated by Gunung Mulu , a 2377m- high sandstone pinnacle and home to millions of cave swiftlets and bats
