A potpourri enriched with indigenous traditions and cultures of the Thais, Eurasians, Kadazan, Ibans, Dusun, Bajau and other ethnic communities of Sabah and Sarawak on the island of Borneo. Added with the Western influence of the British, Portuguese, Dutch, Malaysians are indeed a blend of diverse cultures. In Malaysia, the three languages are widely spoken are Malay, English and Mandarin. Since the 15th Century during the Ming Dynasty, the Chinese Princess Hang LiPo and her 500 people entourage had visited Malacca and married with the local Malay King (Sultan Mansur Shah 1456-1477). As at August 2017, Malaysia has attracted 32,075 MM2H residents which comprises, People’s Republic of China (9,902), Japanese (4372), British (2499), Koreans (1514), Iran (1351), Singapore (1346), Taiwan (1271), Pakistan (992), India (937) and others (7891) are happily living in Malaysia under the MM2H Programmes.
